Should there be cameras in the Tower

So, I was thinking about the guard room and the cameras they have watching the outside, and was wondering if it is time to put cameras on the inside of the tower.
I am assuming they had time to get more cameras after the war when they were all shot by Durai and the mallers, and they wouldn't be a key item looted from shops.
In terms of story telling this may not happen, but would it be a good idea to have cameras in key areas in the tower? They could all be linked to the guard room or recorded and stored somewhere else.

I'm really surprised that when the armoury was broken into the first time there wasn't a rush to develop some sort of internal security. Yeah, let's just watch the front door...
