My addiction started when I was in Middle School when all my friends and I weren't allowed to go on "dates", but we could all hang out en mass. Thus, the weekly Friday Night Movie Night was born and every Friday night a group of about 15 of us would go to the designated house for the week and release our built up sexual awkwardness. Now, being the hormonally driven adolescents that we were, we just had to watch scary movies.
One Friday, when I hosted the weekly prepubescent orgy, I picked the original black and white George A. Romero's "Night Of The Living Dead" and I have been obsessed with anything zombie ever since
I also think a love of zombies can be genetic because my father is also addicted. We watch everything from "Zombie Strippers" and any D class movie on Netflix to "Zombieland" and the remade "Dawn of the Dead."
I've been listening to "We're Alive" for a little over a year now and I tell everyone who even mentions an undead flesh eater in conversation.
My most recent foray into the creative world of zombies was choreographing and performing in a Zombie Flashmob (Yes we did some Thriller...)
