I have 27 years in the Army, Army reserve and Army National Guard. Retired as an E7. Started in the army as an infantryman after airborne training went to 82nd Airborne div. I have been to the Sinai Peninsula, Kuwait and Iraq (OIF 1). I have the Combat Infantry Badge, airborne wings and Drill Sergeant Identification Badge. MOS when I retired was 35FMilitary Analysts (the same as sgt Michael Cross). A lot of my time in the army was as a trainer. My most rewarding position was that of a drill sgt and later platoon sgt. i use the name drill sgt because soldiers i trained and led called me that weather i had them as basic trainies or not.
