Not prickish in the least!
I figured, that's fine! Even though I'm learning French now as an adult, I retained basically nothing from when I was forced to learn it as a child. Except for some colours and numbers... Sorry didn't mean to sound like a condescending prick, if I did. It just made me giggle!
Not gonna lie, it's been over 10 years since I've had to speak French...no way I'd remember those rules!
