The suggestion of the article I took this from is that, in relation to this particular drug, it is a load of bull. Although your points are still valid.

Yup. I'm pretty sure you and i have the same opinion. I've already downloaded this album..its a definite improvement from the last two. Heh, I find that the majority of my "metal" collection is Christian metal...they just know how to get it right, belief influenced or not

that's not to say that some of the songs don't suffer from the same filler lyrics on this album, but they are substantially better. the lyrics on their first album were great, and then they started to get popular on summer of darkness and it felt like clark started to dumb down his writing, then triptych was better musically, and ok lyrically, and then it was over for like the next two albums. of course, summer felt like mostly background music anyway, but there were still some great songs on there, but even there the lyrics felt watered down. wether you agree with clarks beliefs or not, the more straight forward lyrics are refreshing. my philosophy has always been 'speak from the mic' and if you don't have anything to say, make it instrumental. that's one of the reasons i love BTA, wisdoms lyrics are deep, and the instrumentation is tight and epic. oddly, i don't have any trivium

OH... you are my hero! What sort of music do you have. I am new to it so my tastes are as of yet unrefined.

oh, i've been into this stuff for years. i currently have 5713 songs on my ipod, of which 1194 are metal. and, i might add, i've listened to every song on my ipod at least once. currently listening to as i lay dyings cover of electric eye by judas priest, lots of fun. music vid's cool too.

Welcome to the joy only a few of us know. I find this form of musical expression calms my temper better then all the pills in the world and its cheaper then bail money. *GRINS* this shit makes me happy!
