CARL SCHWABER most recently performed in the musical production, Campaign, at the Met Theatre in Hollywood. He also appeared on The Tonight Show with
Jay Leno, performing a comic scene with TV personality, Howie Mandel. Additional television credits include the documentary films Herskovits at the Heart of Blackness (title role) and John and Abigail Adams—both on PBS—as well as Prophets of Science Fiction (Science Channel). Carl arrived in L.A. in September 2009, relocating from Boston after amassing numerous professional theatre credits there. He performed in Jay Hanagan's Along for the Ride, which took first place in NYC’s Samuel French Short Play Festival. He earned a Best Actor nomination for his performance in
Paul Kahn's Speechless. Additional stage performances include The Baltimore Waltz, Not About Nightingales, Much Ado About Nothing and The Exonerated.
Carl wrote a play based on Homer’s epic, The Odyssey, that’s been performed at schools throughout the U.S. and sold at bookstores in Canada, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand (Meriwether Press, CO).
