The thing i can't understand, why would Pippin sell the Tower out to the Mallers? Kalani only did it because of his daughter, but Pippin had nothing to loose - surely when they dropped him off, he could of walked there and not make any contact, due to the fact nothing was forcing him to betray the Tower. The Mallers even beat him, and made him a slave, while at the tower he could of done pretty much anything, as long as he did his own part. Why would you go back to the Mallers when they gave him a chance of better survival, with better people?
