The Same Puck?

This may have been mentioned but I have been searching the forum and couldn't find anything. But anyway...

In chapter 24 ("The Harder They Fall"), before attacking the tower, Scratch mentions several times that she had to see about and drop off Puck.
In chapter 27 we are introduced to Corporal Puck, and later in chapter 29 we are told that the soldiers are sometimes deployed into the field...sometimes to preform covert operations. Is it possible that the Puck mentioned by Scratch and Puck the soldier are the same person?

That was kind of the direction I'd always leaned. Seems like such an uncommon name. Though, it may be a relative? Or she's really into hockey. Scratch strikes me as the type to be into hockey.

I remember this being brought up before and KC confirmed that it was not the same person.

I always thought that the 'Puck' refered to by Scratch was someones first name, while the Puck at Ft Irwin is Corporal Puck, which would be a last name. :squint:

I think KC just has some names in a hat and picks one out when he needs it. He just forgot to discard Puck after he first picked it out and he's too honest to choose again.

I couldn't see him being so cavalier with naming his characters. It seems far more likely there is some connection between the two that will become blatantly obvious midway through the final season.
