with the title of the latest chapter. Its really starting to sink in for me. That after this season finial there is one more season left. Will it be a full season like the last 3 or will KC, end it early. I am sure I have read that it was going to be a full season.( I hope and didn't just dream it.)
I have come to care for all the character in the podcast; and the actors and actress that play them. Once the finial chapter has been played and the journal has been closed on we're alive. I will miss them all. However, I will listen and revisit them again on my iPod.
Thanks KC and the cast and crew of We're Alive on such a wonderful and often frustrating (cause you make us wait for weeks between chapters. and killing off some of my favorites.) podcast.
as I said often, I found it refreshing, and exciting. Hollywood had become over bloated with rehashing old themes;nothing was new. now there is somebody that had the balls to do something different. I cant thank you enough. Showing me that there are still people out there that really care for their craft.

I asked Kc for a direct answer to this very question: Will season 4 run a full "normal" season?
His response was:
I locked my keys in my car.
Six weeks later, I asked him again. He responded thus:
I locked my keys in your car.
Kc has never been in my car. I get the feeling that he's avoiding the subject.
Six weeks later, I asked him why he was being so evasive. His response was:
I'm not being evasive at all. I really enjoyed that movie and would probably see it again.
I had not asked him about any movie.

you know, i've wondered bout that, why is it that there's nothing out there even remotely as good as we're alive?

Well, if you ever tried to make your own audio drama, you wouldn't need to ask that question.
Long ass hours, tedious editing, $$$ needed for good equipment, finding a talented and devoted cast, writing a great script... the list goes on and on. Oh, and add to it lack of funding and a largely clueless fan base, most of whom don't even know what audio drama is.
I'm actually amazed that Kc has been able to accomplish as much as he has despite those long odds. Very few people are have the right combination of writing talent, funding, resources, business / technical savvy, and production/directing knowledge to be able to pull off something of this magnitude.
In my mind, there are only 5-6 audio dramas out there that even make it in the same ballpark as We're Alive, but the vast majority aren't even close.

there are rumors about some of the characters getting their own reality show where they go to different businesses that are struggling and try to revive them. the working title is going to be "they are almost not alive"
a story of revival.

Nah, they'll do a show called "We're a Hive: A breathtaking look at the bee and ant worlds after the apocalypse"
