We're Alive Christmas Special!

I hope this next season we get a Christmas special. How awesome would that be. Kind of like a Doctor Who Christmas special, doesn't really follow any main plot. The remaining survivors, holding on to any sense of humanity they have, decide that they want to celebrate Christmas this year. Antics ensue. Some are sent out to get a tree and decorations, and they decide to do a white elephant gift exchange. Maybe when some of them are out, there is a zombie with bells attached to it, and when he is running it sounds like sleigh bells ringing. What do you think? Suggestions?

This, I feel, falls under the same idea tree as the musical episode. I don't think it would make much sense to abandon the story line to go Christmas shopping.

An acknowledgement of Christmas and a bleak reality of the survivors current situation would be far more poignant. Besides, it's August 2nd in WA land. Even though we're approaching Christmas doesn't mean they'd even be thinking about it.

They should do an episode from the zombie perspective, maybe with Paul zombie as the lead. Anyone watched Galaxy Quest, its basically a parody of Star Trek. Anyway on the DVD theres an alternate audio track in the Thermian language (high pitched pops and tweeks)
WA version, lots of zombie calls, growls, and survivors yelling and shooting. Probably wouldn't make any sense, and your neighbors might think your listening to porn.

If they do a Christmas Special, I want it to be a FLASHBACK style similar to Chapter 20 part 3.
Here's my story and it's been done with other stories and what not, but have the story revolve around a TOY/Necklace/Ring/ Something special that holds importantance. Start the story with a central family (DAD, MOM, and Daughter)at the beginning of the "outbreak" and flashback to the previous Christmas. The flashback will tell us how hard it was to get this special item for Christmas and show how how it's important to the story. Revealing in a heartfelt way that should make you cry. I don't know how to explain it, but yea.... that's all I got. haha.

I'm not saying that this wouldn't be awesome, but I see it as unlikely. Perhaps this is a potential fanfic idea, hmmm?
