Hey all!
A couple of weeks ago, the fam and I went to a state park for the day and (wonder of wonders!) they had a firearms range!
So before leaving, my friend and I said "Screw it!". Instead of shelling out cash for paper targets, I took: 1 Sharpie, 2 11x17 pieces of Bristol board, 2 leftover lath stakes from the garden that had been sitting in the garage and in about 3 minutes, made us a couple of targets on which we could practice our "offensive zombie pacification skills" .
We set the targets out at 75 feet and went to town. Two clips (22 rounds) later, here are my results: 2 misses, 3 in the arms, 8 in the torso and 9 head-shots.
Not bad for someone who hasn't fired a weapon in over a year, I guess.
(Proof, if proof were needed, that marksmanship is a skill that you must practice daily, or it will deteriorate.)
So! Be it blades, bludgeons or bullets, (please!) have a little mayhem-based fun (and NOT on other people, their pets, their property or possessions either!).
Then, post up the pic of your results with your weapon of choice, for when the zombies rise!
