Posted this in the crackpot theories section, wanted to get some other's thoughts.

Don't know if this one has appeared yet but does anyone else think that maybe Pippin's accent was 'bad' because there is actually the real Pippin out there somewhere? Love the idea that Michael and the others will be in one of the choppers (crashed) and some guy turns up and saves them. They are grateful but that changes when Michael realizes that he recognizes the guy but is not sure where from (from the passport... wait, did he have one? can't remember). They think he's a maller and then he tells them: "My name is Pippin!"
Would love there to be a Pippin 2.0 with a 'real' accent!

Because he was completely beaten up (to hide his real looks) we can't say for sure that Pippin was the real Pippin.

Oh so my thread isn't good enough?..:) Just kidding, I actually really like this idea. That would throw a very interesting twist on the whole pippin situation. But, how bout this. What if the pippin that was at the tower WAS the real pippin. He actually did escape the mallers, and the second pippin who shows up has an even worse accent(!)...
